I'm terrified.

Hello.  I've been laying/sitting in bed for the past week (I have gotten up some, but mainly not) with a broken foot.  It really is a miserable thing.  I'm waiting, somewhat patiently, for a mobility device to appear to help me with walking and getting around so that I don't stumble onto my broken foot, hurt my other foot, and just generally fall and harm myself more on my crutches.  I am not very good at the whole balance thing.  (I fell while just walking and broke my foot, what does that say?)

While I've been sitting here I've done a good deal of thinking.  Way too much than what is helpful.  Then yesterday I spent some serious time reading poetry, listening to music and writing.  Between the two, this blog happened.  I don't know if it will be any good.  It really might not be.  I don't know if anyone will actually read it.  You may not.  But, I'm going to give it a shot and at least TRY to start writing again more.  (Many, many years ago I was a creative writing major.  I hated the pressure of writing for a deadline and defined purpose; so I left that behind.)

Some of the blogs on this site will be just what I've written.  Some will be my favorite verses and quotes from others.  I hope you don't hate what I write.  I hope you might enjoy some of it.  I hope you like what I like.
